Shoecare (Cardiff) Ltd is one of South Wales’ oldest independent Shoe Repairers having opened the very first branch in Cardiff in 1982.

We now have branches in Bridgend, Whitchurch and Porthcawl.
We are specialists in the repair of all types of footwear and members of the Society of Master Shoe Repairers. Our skilled craftsmen are able to carry out repairs utilising both the older traditional ‘hands on’ methods such as re-welting footwear, hand stitching, hand sewing and leather patching, whilst at the same time, can also carry out all of the modern machinery based repairs.
Our technicians take up to 2 years to become fully proficient in all of these aspects of footwear repair and it is for this reason that many of our competitors actually send most of this complex work to our shops to be completed.

We also have a very comprehensive key cutting service, including household cylinder, mortice and dimple cut keys along with an ever expanding selection of chipped car keys.

Our Engraving services include both fully computerised services and the traditional pantograph engraving.

These services being complemented by the availability of a vast range of traditional and glass trophies and awards.

Shoecare also offers a full watch battery replacement service, with a wide range of watch straps also available when required.

We have now introduced a full sharpening service which will be available through all of our branches.
